Retirement Celebration for Terry Cook

Please join us in celebrating Terry Cook’s 32 years of service to the University System of Maryland.  A reception will be held on Wednesday, December 14, 4:00 – 5:30 p.m. in the CEI Arena Retriever Room.

Terry joined UMBC in 2008 after serving as Senior Associate Vice President at the University of Maryland Global Campus (UMGC). Prior to that, Terry spent 15 years at the University of Maryland, Baltimore (UMB) in both Facilities Management and Procurement management roles.

Over her 14 years at UMBC, Terry has provided executive oversight and supervision to Facilities Management, Procurement & Strategic Sourcing, Environmental Safety and Health, Management Advisory Services, the Bookstore, and Campus Card/Mail Services. She also provided oversight for our dining services and CEI Arena management contracts and handled all real property matters. She is widely known and respected for her professionalism and integrity, attention to detail, extraordinary work ethic, and strategic thinking skills. Her ability to keep multiple projects on track is unmatched.
